Capturing the Wildly Human

I’m a storyteller, a mom to two wild and wonderful daughters (a four-year-old and a ten-month-old), wife to my incredible husband, and the human to a large, wolf-looking dog named Luna. By day, I’m an elementary school teacher, and by night—or whenever I can steal a moment—I’m lost in books, from literary classics like Pride & Prejudice to modern fantasies and romances like Fourth Wing and A Court of Thorns and Roses. My love for stories, folklore, and fairytales (I even have an M.A. in Gaelic Literature!) bleeds into my photography, shaping images that are cinematic, whimsical, and a little magical.
I create story-driven portraits for the wildly human. I don’t do stiff poses—I want to capture real emotion, fleeting moments, and the little sparks of life that make you, you. Whether we’re wandering a bookstore, exploring a coffee shop, or finding magic in a simple everyday space, my goal is to craft images that feel timeless, moody, and utterly alive.
Photography for me isn’t just about pictures—it’s about capturing the stories we live, the moments that make life unforgettable, and the beauty in being fully, wonderfully human.
